Why is the work being done?

The NHMRC website is outdated and is being rebuilt to provide a fresh look, better user experience, and an innovative, engaging digital communications platform that can support the organisations strategic communication goals. Timely measurement and reporting of website outcomes will be essential to determining the success of these goals.

What success looks like for the NHMRC website needs to be redefined based on the new NHMRC website and digital communication strategy.

As a program manager, I need to know if my communication goals are being achieved on the NHMRC website, so I can tune my communication strategies and demonstrate value to my stakeholders.

NHMRC has an existing Google Analytics account and historical metrics for all its websites.

1. Can the required start date of no later than 29/1/18 be changed? No, the required start date can not change, however we are flexible with when the services are provided.
2. Is the requirement for the implementation to be done on-site flexible? Most of the services will need to be delivered on-site, however we are flexible with some of the services to be provided to be undertaken off-site as required.

5. What techncial platform will the new website be built on? If circumstances arise that the website developers will need to complete implementation of analytics features in accordance with best practice documentation, will this be exempt from the requirement for the successful vendor to be on site thoughout the implementation process? The site has been built on Drupal 8 using Google Analytics. There is no requirement for the consultant to be onsite for the full duration of the implementation as long as remote assistance is available.
6. We note the desired start date of 29 January 2018. Is there a desired completion date by which time all work in scope will be completed? The work will need to be completed prior to the Beta release of the new website in March 2018. The desired completion date is 28 February 2018
7. Is the total anticipated budget of $10,000 inclusive of GST, and inclusive of travel and accommodation costs for the on-site component? The total anticipated budget of $10,000 excludes GST and travel costs.
