About the work

Who will the specialist work with? The successful respondent will work with a multidisciplinary team of subject matter expert policy developers. -
What will the specialist do? The Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) is seeking a technical policy writer to support the development of the Trusted Digital Identity Framework (Trust Framework). The successful respondent will be responsible to develop the initial version (v0.01) of the Trust Framework: Service Operations Testing. The document will need to outline how to run an effective service operations testing program and include minimum testing criteria for service continuity. The DTA will manage and iterate subsequent versions (v0.02 through v1.0) of the documents using its agile approaches to policy development and stakeholder engagement.

Any additional relevant information? The DTA, in collaboration with other government agencies and key private sector bodies, is leading the development of a national federated identity ‘eco-system’ (the ‘identity federation’). The Trust Framework underpins implementation and operation of the identity federation. The Trust Framework contains the tools, rules and accreditation criteria to govern the identity federation. It provides the required structure and controls to deliver confidence to participants that all Accredited Providers in the identity federation have met their accreditation obligations and as such may be considered trustworthy. These obligations cover protective security, privacy, accessibility, usability, risk management, fraud control, technical integration and service operations.

Is security clearance required? Current Commonwealth Government baseline security clearance an advantage, otherwise the ability to obtain one.
