About the work

Why is the work being done?

myGov has recently been redesigned to be more usable and accessible and we want to ensure we have addressed the requirement to meet WCAG 2.0 at level AA.

Undertaking the audit is now possible because the changes have been released.

Work needs to preferably be completed by end of financial year.

What's the key problem you need to solve?

Recent work on myGov has addressed a number of accessibility issues, with considerable effort committed to ensuring that the new version is highly accessible to people with disability. We want to be sure we have addressed all issues according to current best practice.

Note: that linking a member service was not in scope of this update and should not be assessed as part of this work; this will form part of ongoing improvements to myGov.
