About the work

Why is the work being done? DFAT is embarking on an innovation agenda which includes the secure consumption of Cloud Services. DFAT requires an experienced service provider who has successfully implemented secure Microsoft cloud based services up to the Protected, National Security Classification. -
What's the key problem you need to solve? DFAT must ensure the services consumed from Microsoft is done so in a manner where security accreditation of DFATs connection to Microsoft and the service itself can be achieved through the strict implementation of security controls, policies and processes. -
Describe the users and their needs Australian Government users requiring to connect to Microsoft Office 365 to consume office productivity services including, Office, email and web browsing. -
What work has already been done? DFAT has established an Office 365 tenancy and requires industry's expertise to help DFAT achieve its desired business outcomes. -
Who will the work be done with? DFAT IT and partners such as Microsoft -
Any additional relevant information? DFAT is implementing Microsoft cloud services at the Protected Security classification and requires the services of a suitably qualified and experienced service provider who has performed this task for other government agencies. -

Where will the work take place? 40 Allara St Canberra City -
What are the working arrangements? A mixture of on-site and off-site work on a time and materials basis. DFAT will define work packages for each element of work required. The service provider will be required to lead the accreditation initiative, working closely with DFAT to ensure all people, process and technology aspects required to achieve secure connectivity and accreditation can be achieved. -
Is security clearance required? Minimum Baseline / NV1 preferred

- Demonstrated elxperience working with Federal Government Agencies
