About the work

Why is the work being done?

The ATO is changing the way we work to deliver the best possible experience with the tax and super systems for our clients, our staff and our partners. This work will support a whole of government experience for the Australian community. As a result we require ‘smarter and faster’ approaches to delivery which will complement and supplement our traditional approaches to meet community expectations.

As part of this change, we have adopted the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) as a tool to enable us to improve and streamline our delivery capability.

The ATO is looking to engage a consultant/s to support and guide us through the transition to SAFe implementation across all levels of the framework [PPM, Portfolio, Program and team] as well as tailor the framework where appropriate to fit our environment.

3. Assist/Guide with establishing and running various Community of Practice forums,

4. Assist with the taxonomy across the organisation where SAFe implementation is feasible

5. Assist with Full Value Stream Assessments to eliminate wastage along with providing written reports of the findings where applicable.
